After wrapping up the Colorado 4th of July Sparkler/Fireworks/Sparkler Juniors, the push continues for TC Fastpitch as they prepare for the 2018 Triple Crown Fastpitch World Series. This summer marks the 22nd year of the World Series, which has become the preferred championship event for hundreds of softball teams from around the country.
At the TC World Series events you can expect high-intensity games, skills competitions, team parades, pin trading and instructional camps hosted by local universities. The bonus to these tournaments is that we’ve handpicked locations that continue to deliver a wonderful experience for a families making a vacation out of the tournament. The 10u and 12u divisions will head to the beautiful mountain town of Park City, Utah while the 14u journey to the beaches of San Diego. Both of these events begin on July 9th. The older 16u and 18u will visit the “Biggest Little City in the World” also known as Reno, Nevada a week later. If you love adventure, Park City is the place to be! From white water rafting to alpine slides to zip lining to golf, there’s plenty of fun activities to keep your family and team busy. Team check-in coincides with the Team Skills Contest on Monday, July 9th which is followed by the exciting Pin Trading Party and Costume Parade. Later in the week, the University of Utah will run an all-hands-on-deck Instructional Camp. If you love sunny and 75 weather and cooling off at the beach, San Diego will do the trick. The 14u event kicks off with an Instructional Camp hosted by Cal State Fullerton from 8:00 a.m. to noon at USA Sportsplex. Later that day there will be a Pin Trading Party and Team Parade! Come nighttime it’s the players turn to cheer on and maybe even critique their head coach from the sidelines at the Fourth Annual Coaches Slow Pitch Game. The 6-game guarantee begins the following day and will ultimately lead to Gold, Silver and Bronze bracket play championships. Nearly 120 teams will experience the bright lights of Reno starting on July 16th. The University of Nevada coaching staff will host an Instructional Camp on Day 1, and that night the teams will enjoy some friendly competition at the National Bowling Stadium. The fastpitch competition begins Tuesday and teams will battle it out in hopes of making it to the championships on Saturday, July 21st. Good luck to all the teams headed to one of these locations. We wish you a week filled with family, friends, fun and fastpitch! Visit https://www.tcfastpitchworldseries.com/ for more information on the 2018 World Series! |
